Blocklands

How to play: a blocky world raised fresh every time you start one. Click it to look around: WASD walks, the mouse looks, Space jumps, left click digs the block under the crosshair and right click builds one back — and you can only build with what you have already dug, so the pack at the bottom of the screen is your supply. The keys 1–6 pick which block you are holding. If the browser will not hand over the mouse, the arrow keys look, E digs and Q builds; on a phone, the left pad walks, the middle pad looks and the right buttons jump, swap block, build and dig. Eight seams of gold are buried in the stone — never on the surface, so they have to be dug for — and you have four minutes of daylight to find them all before the sky goes out.
