Dots and Boxes

How to play: take turns with the bot drawing one line between two dots next to each other. Draw the fourth side of a box and it is yours — and you draw again straight away, so one line can win a whole run of boxes. When every box is claimed, whoever holds more wins. The trick is the endgame: avoid drawing the third side of a box, because that hands it over, and when you have to, give away the shortest chain you can. Choose a board from 3 × 3 to 6 × 6.
