How to play: five at the table; the 3♣ leads the opening hand. Play sets of one rank — a single, pair, triple or four of a kind. Beat the pile with the same number of cards at a higher rank, or pass; when everyone passes, the last player clears the pile and leads fresh. Ranks climb 3 up to ace, and the 2 beats everything. First out is President, then Vice-President, Citizen, Vice-Scum — and the last one holding cards is the Scum.
The table keeps its order: every hand after the first carries the last one's titles. Before the cards are played the Scum hands the President their two best cards and the Vice-Scum hands the Vice-President one — no choice about it — and each gets back the same number, chosen by the seat above them. The President then leads. New game clears the ranks and starts the sitting over.
