How to play: a two-way highway, and 5 km of it between you and the flag. Up (or W) is the throttle — flat out is 240 km/h — down brakes, and left and right steer; steering bites harder the faster you go. Traffic holds its lane at ordinary speeds, so you are threading it at three times its pace. Every metre is a point, an overtake within touching distance pays 150, and a car coming the other way passed close enough to feel pays 250 — crossing the yellow line into oncoming traffic doubles your points a metre for as long as you dare stay there. Touch anything and the run is over. On a phone, the left pair of buttons steers and the right pair is the brake and the throttle.
