How to play: the board deals each word of the quán twice — once written properly in Vietnamese, once as the way it is said or as its English. Tap a tile, then tap its partner: a pair goes in, pays 100 points, and is said aloud in Vietnamese. Every pair you make without a mistake multiplies the next one, up to five times over, and a wrong guess counts a mistake and puts the run back to nothing — the board ends only when every pair is matched. Clear it and the clock stops; each deck keeps its own best time. Nine decks of 367 words in all.

This is the vocabulary Experdize Vietnamese Diner - Applied works with, so play it first and that floor's sentences will already make sense. Classifiers is the deck to play first and the one this board exists for: Vietnamese cannot count a noun directly, so "one phở" is not a sentence — it is một bát phở, a bowl of it, and the Diner will ask you to pick the right classifier in front of a customer. Money is the other one worth owning early: fifteen is mười lăm and not mười năm, twenty-one is hai mươi mốt and not hai mươi một, twenty-four is hai mươi tư, and a hundred and five needs a linh in the middle of it. A pair already made stays on the board faded; tap it to hear the word again.
