Model Waitress
Mine gold, fell timber, raise an army and level the horde’s hall.
How to play: two halls face each other across a map neither side has seen, and the war is over when one of them has nothing left standing. You start with four peasants already mining. Left-click picks something up and dragging a box takes a whole company; right-click sends them — at open ground to march, at a gold mine or a stand of trees to work it, at anything of the horde's to fight it. Peasants carry ten at a time back to a hall, and gold and timber are what everything costs. A farm feeds five more of your people and nothing can be trained past what your farms will feed; a barracks gives you footmen and archers, and stables behind it give you knights. Archers outrange a sword seven times over and die to one, so put shields in front of them. The horde is doing all of this at the same time and sends a bigger wave each attack, so an army that waits to be perfect arrives too late. Arrows scroll, Space finds your hall, Tab finds an idle peasant, and Ctrl+1…9 ties a group to a number. On a touchscreen, drag to move the map, tap one of your own to pick it up and tap anywhere else to send it.
