Terms of Service

1. These terms

By creating an account or using Experdize you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. "Experdize", "we" and "us" mean the operator of the site; "you" and "your" mean the person using it.

2. Your account

• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country, and in any case at least 16 years old.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us if your account is compromised, and keep your contact details current so we can reach you.
• One person, one account. Accounts made to evade a ban or to impersonate someone are removed.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post — your deal, review, comment, job or profile belongs to you. By posting it you give Experdize a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute and reasonably promote it on the site. We can remove or edit content that breaks these terms.

4. Content you must not post

• Anything illegal, or that infringes someone's copyright or other rights.
• Spam, scams, or content whose purpose is to mislead — including fake reviews, invented deals, and "get rich quick" pitches.
• Harassment, hate, threats, or content that doxxes or sexually exploits anyone.
• Adult content, malware, or anything that breaks the site or its services.
• Reposting the same deal or review repeatedly, or content whose only purpose is to drive traffic elsewhere.

5. Deals, sales and reviews

The value of this site is that the deals and reviews are honest. Post only deals you believe are real, with accurate codes, prices and dates; review only things you have actually used or paid for. A deal that has expired, or a review that was written in exchange for anything of value, should be flagged rather than repeated. We may remove promotions that have ended so the feed stays current.

6. Jobs, experts and companies

The job board and directories connect members directly. Experdize is the venue, not a party to any arrangement you make: we do not employ, vet, insure or guarantee any member, expert or company, and we are not responsible for the work done or promised between members. Deal directly, do your own due diligence, and never send money to someone you have not satisfied yourself about.

7. Games

All games on Experdize are free to play and use play money only. There is nothing on the site you can bet, win or lose of real value — no wagering, no cash prizes, no transferable winnings. If a game ever looks like it is offering real money or prizes of value, treat that as a mistake and tell us.

8. Acceptable use

• Do not break, overload or probe the site, its API or its infrastructure.
• Do not scrape content at scale, or automate accounts, votes or reactions.
• Do not try to access another member's account or private messages.
• Do not use the site to send unsolicited messages to other members.
• Do not game the leaderboards, rankings or engagement metrics.

9. Our content and rights

The Experdize name, logo, games and site design are ours. You may use the site for its intended purpose but not copy, resell or build competing products from it. Content posted by members remains theirs, as described above.

10. Disclaimers

Experdize is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — including that it will always be up, that a deal will still work, or that content posted by members is accurate. Deals, codes and prices come from members and change on the retailer's side; we cannot guarantee them.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Experdize is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site, the acts of other members, or any arrangement made through the job board or directories. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, since the site is free, will ordinarily be zero.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover Experdize against claims arising from content you post or your breach of these terms.

13. Suspension and termination

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will usually say why. You can close your account at any time from your profile, or by writing to us. Closing an account removes your ability to sign in and, where requested, your personal information, as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. Significant changes are announced on the site, and the effective date above moves. Continuing to use Experdize after a change means you accept it.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
